Where can I download the software for the engraving machine?

You can download the necessary software for your specific engraving machine from our Software Download page.

What file types are supported for engraving?
  • Image files: bmp, jpg, jpeg, png, gif, tif, tiff, tga, webp
  • Vector files: ai, pdf, sc, dxf, gc, gcode, nc, hpgl, plt, rd, scpro2, svg, brn, brn2, mage
Does the laser head need to be previewed before starting to engrave?

When starting to engrave, after setting the pattern size, you should preview it first to ensure the engraved graphic is within the engraving area, thereby improving engraving efficiency.

What if the engraver cannot connect to the computer/software?
  1. Check if the data cable is connected; try a different USB port.
  2. Confirm the machine is powered on.
  3. Download and install the latest driver (e.g., CH340 driver).
  4. Ensure only one control software is running at a time (close other programs occupying the port).
  5. Select the correct communication port and baud rate (115200).
Why is the engraved image mirrored/reversed?
  • LightBurn: In "Edit" > "Device Settings," set the "Device Origin" to the bottom left corner; change "User Origin" to "Absolute Coords" in the bottom right corner.
  • LaserGRBL: Configuration parameters need to be changed. Please contact customer service to obtain specific parameter configurations.
What if the engraved image has ghosting/double lines?

This problem may occur when using "Vectorize". It is recommended to choose "Line to Line" or "Center" mode for engraving or cutting.

I changed the speed in the software, but the machine's movement speed remains unchanged?

You may have only adjusted the "movement speed" but not the "working speed." Please adjust the specific working speed on the "Cut/Layer" page.

What if the software shows "Busy, machine not moving"?

You have not successfully connected to the machine. Please ensure the controller is connected and the correct communication port is selected in the bottom right corner of the software.

Are there any hardware requirements for the computer to run the software?

The hardware requirements are not high. A standard Windows 10 laptop can be used normally, without needing a dedicated graphics card or high memory.

What do XY and WH represent in the software?

XY represents the distance from the origin (offset), and WH represents the width and height of the engraved graphic.

What file types does LaserGRBL support?

Supports code files with the extensions .nc and .gcode, as well as image files like .bmp, .jpg, .png, .gif, and SVG files.

What if Lightburn cannot detect the machine?
  1. Ensure you have installed the driver, physically connected the laser, and selected the correct laser type or connection method.
  2. Use the "Find Laser" or "Create Manually" function, and follow the program's steps to add the laser to the software and connect the device.
How can I increase the movement speed of the laser?

If the speed setting in the program is too slow, please adjust the laser movement speed and working speed in the software to achieve your desired engraving efficiency and effect.

What if the wrong product was shipped?

If the delivery is delayed, customer service will help you urge the warehouse to ship it out as soon as possible.

If the machine malfunctions, how long is the warranty period?

In the event of a malfunction, our technicians will typically diagnose the issue based on customer feedback. With the exception of consumable parts, if the malfunction is caused by a quality defect, we will replace all components free of charge.

Which products are not eligible for return?

1. Regarding the return of incorrectly shipped items: provided that the merchandise remains undamaged and free of stains, you may return it after packaging it securely. We will inspect the goods upon receipt. If everything is in order, we will issue an immediate refund.
2. For returns unrelated to product defects, please note that shipping costs and applicable taxes (including taxes incurred on our end) must be borne by you.
